I survived!!

Yeshhh! I survived my 1st day in my new job..

Started out with arriving too early (8am @_@) for a job that starts at 9am and there's still people walking in at 10am. Got a new phone, got my brand-new Dell laptop, handover briefing with the previous PIC, had the meet and greet session with everyone at Iproperty Malaysia, quick Nasi Lemak+Horlicks panas breakfast at Gardens, continued my handover briefing, then hot chicken porridge+chinese tea lunch at Northpoint, started settling some issues and send a couple of emails out, meet and greet session with Iproperty HQ at The Gardens, briefing with my manager, send a couple more emails out and then it's 6pm! :) We get to leave work on time. No OT required.. hehe!

Things I've started working on - payment for a pending bus advertising campaign, a newsletter which I've to draft the CEO's note etc, send it to the design team, get all the necessary approvals and ensure it's blasted out in 1 weeks time, booth design for the upcoming expo, Google Analytics for the website (lots of figures to make me go bonkers @@) and a new FB campaign which I've to work on with E and DCI.

I've met 3 more persons I know from before - Wei Yeen, ex-cell member; Kenny, someone from 1st KL Boys Brigade company, and Mark, friend and BB member from 10th KL company :) Small world huh. Colleagues have also been quite friendly.

I was a little overdressed since some really came in jeans or slippers @_@. But coming from a 3-piece suit complete with hair buns and pantyhoses workplace for almost 4 years, I found it really hard to wear jeans to work, especially on my first day. Believe me, I've tried. After trying on a countless jeans outfit (ask Esther, she knows :p), I finally pulled out this old slacks that I haven't worn in 3.5years :)

I only miss.... my lunch buddies from SRHS, the toilets at Level 2 and definately my comfort zone!!

Tomorrow's the day!

Time flies when you're having fun.

Sleep late, wake up late, went shopping at Floristika for wedding decor stuff 

with my sisters, did some housework, watch movie reruns..

I wished I had a few more days of this..

My 2 days of leave has gone by too quickly :(

I'm a Home Interior Decorator Wannabe

I'm moving in to a brand new place with E about a year from now.

I know this is a little early and there is still lots of time to plan 

but I'm already super excited and have already started imagining our dream home :p

Anyway, here are some (of the many) home inspirations I pinned on Pinterest :)

Food wasn't as good as expected but the company was excellent :)

Must be all the white decor as well...

It's quite hard for me to find basic tops because they are either too tight or too loose, neckline too high etc. =_= I've tried Topshop, MNG, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Brands Outlets, various brands to no avail. So I was overjoyed to find these ones from ZARA that fitted quite perfectly. Love them so much I got a few more different colours :p

And the scarf added the much needed pop of colour to an otherwise plain outfit..

27 in Polkadots

One of my birthday dinners was with my church & cell group at TGIF, The Curve. 

E tried to plan a surprise dinner for me but failed :D 

I know him well enough to know when he is acting weirdly suspiciously..

Anyway, it was still awesome to have friends who took the time 
to celebrate your birthday with you :)

Roger, Sarah & Natalie had to leave earlier 'cos it was past Natalie's bedtime.

  As usual, at TGIF, all birthday girls / boys had to stand on the chair and be embarrassed =_= 

                       Must really insist that I'm getting too old to be doing all this :p 

   Had to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle" super loudly and announce myself to the whole restaurant. 

                           Thankfully it was so noisy nobody was really interested :D

ZARA birthday gift

Just a quick post as this is gonna be a busy weekend :)

After my half day workday on my birthday,

E picked me up and took me for dinner and a birthday shopping trip.
